With Exceptions We Only Recommend The FUE Method

This is an older method that consists of removing a large band of hair from the back of the head. The sampling area should be closed by re-stitching (it leaves a long scar from one ear to the other) and there is a risk of damaging the blood vessels under the scalp or the hair follicles located in it. Then the follicles are isolated and reimplanted. This method is more likely to bleed. It has almost the only advantage of being faster. We donot recommend it with rare exceptions and is not the method of choice if you do not live close to the surgeon because of the higher risks than with a fue.

Why Are We Almost Always Offering Fut In Pakistan?

Mainly For 2 Reasons:

Its profitability for the surgeon. Hair removal by the fut is performed faster than with fue. Surgeons can treat more patients per day by lowering operating room rental costs. 

There are few trained surgeons with enough experience to do Hair Transplant In Islamabad. Lack of experience further slows intervention and makes it even less profitable. 

Preparation Of The Intervention:

A preoperative assessment is performed. In order for the surgeon to perceive the direction in which the hair grows, in order to obtain a natural result, it is not necessary to cut them before the intervention (or at least leaving at least 5 mm). On the day of the operation they will be cut very short. The morning of the procedure the patient takes a shower and washes his hair. 

After The Intervention:

It is recommended not to wear a cap for at least 2 weeks or a helmet for 1 to 3 months. The practice of a sport is not recommended during 10 days after the intervention, to avoid the contact with the skull (and during 1 to 3 months if the wearing of a helmet is necessary). Swimming in the pool (because of chlorine) is not possible for 1 month.

Possible Complications :

During hair micro grafts the risks are reduced but cannot be completely ruled out:

Hematoma: may require evacuation of the hematoma by the surgeon.

Infection: very rare .

Bad Scarring: very rare

Cysts: they usually disappear without requiring medical intervention. Otherwise, their removal is easy and without causing cosmetic damage.
